summer spectacular

Well what a difference in the weather friday was a lovely day sunshine a  little bit windy but quite warm, the evening sun was still shining strong till about 8pm. Today Saturday is sunny spells but no rain, with the start of the summer spectaculars down on the harbour that can only be a good thing. Guest house is full again with regulars from Tredegar, easy going fun bunch with a 40 year old birthday girl celebration. The National Parks week 25th -31st of July all sorts of activities and events are being run by the Park authority for a full list of events log on to www.pembrokeshirecoast.org.uk  . There seems to be a push on certain developments in and around Tenby the south beach apartments on the site of the old cafe are begining to take shape although still no movement from the gatehouse development which is becoming a thorn in Tenbys side and of course we still have the long running saga of the De valance which is dragging on, my own veiw would be to get behind the aquarium bid, this is just what Tenby needs some where interesting  for families to visit and also attract visitors all year round. Ok a few hours to myself now so I’m off for a ride on my bike.

Welcome

Welcome to our new Blog – Langdon Villa Guest House  Tenby is a  4* Guest House it is owned and run by Deb and Graham and we will be posting a daily blog which will include local Tenby events, news, whats happening with the weather and anything that may be of interest to readers of this blog. To start it off todays weather is a bit drizzly and dull although there are plenty of people visiting Tenby town,  the centre once again pedestrianised, great to see all the bars and restaurants with their tables and chairs out giving it a continental feel. The guest house is full at the moment with a selection of people from Australia, Amsterdam and the UK, there’s always interesting conversation each morning in the breakfast room some getting  lost with the different accents.
